Hey Yer

I am very lazy with my hair. After a shower I usually towel dry it, put in some mousse, scrunch it, blow dry my bangs and GO. The days following I will put it half up, occaaaaaasionally put it in a ponytail (and more recently I've been trying the top knot) but I'm getting pretty bored with it down all the time (mind you that's usually because I don't give myself time to do much else), so I've been looking for hair inspiration and here's some looks I've found.

And here's something I've been trying here and there, I really like it, the diagonal braid in the back is so much fun! I`ve always loved french braids.

What I'm Working On

Well hello! Just wanted to show you what I've been working on. Since yesterday was a holiday I attempted to sew up a storm! That storm turned into 3 dresses (one is not quiiiiite ready so I'll just show you the other 2). Once again, I'm saving them for a Flea Market happening on May 7th but after that they will be going up in my Etsy Shop!

Here's some more headbands I made on Thursday! I love them, they're so fun to make!

Happy Saturday!

Date Night!

The other day me and my man celebrated 14 months. And by celebrated, I just mean that we did something a little more special than staying in and watching TV or something like that. We don't make a huge deal of the months in between, but it's nice to acknowledge the day :) So we went out for appetizers after I was done work.

Here's what I wore

Here's what he wore! I texted him from work telling him I was dressing up, and asked what he was wearing. He responded that he was wearing his blue cowboy shirt, and was that ok? And I said of course! He loves 'cowboy' shirts and I have found him some AMAZING ones at thrift stores. Best ever!

And here we are doing what we do best

This necklace I got from his mom when we were in Florida in January :)

BOOTS!

What I'm wearing:

Leg Warmers: Ardene
Tights: Joe
Skirt: Forever 21

Presents

Sometimes I like to buy myself presents...I love getting stuff in the mail, it feels special :)

So I've been trying to get a top from PPP for some time now (I did a feature of her on my old blog-find it here), my favorites are always sold right aways.
First there was this one: I could imagine myself wearing that with skinny jeans and my leather flip flops

Then this one, Just looks comfy

Then this gorgeous green one (I love that color!)

And finally, I got this one! It arrived in the mail today and it fits perfectly! I can't wait until it's warm enough out to wear it :)

And I'm currently loving this one as well, it looks super pretty and comfortable, but it's a pretty penny. So I'll let someone else have that one ;)

Make sure you check out her Blog and Shop! It's not your normal fashion show, but it's unique and fun, made with heart and soul.

Little Bow Clutch

Hello! Just stopping by to show you a new clutch design I've been working on :)

I'm calling it the Little Bow Clutch (like Little Bo Peep). I've used thrifted men's and women's shirts and fabric scraps, and I've got some SUPER CUTE fabrics I want to use :)

Here's the front. It's a charcoal color with mint/seafoam green lace

It has a magnetic closure on the back

Floral pattern on the inside and a pocket for your cell phone, iPod, chapstick, whatever you want to keep safe from whatever else you'll put in it.

AND (one of my favorite features) you put your wrist through the bow detail which serves as the 'wrist strap.' I'll take better photos of it soon, I just couldn't wait to show you! I'm excited to make more :)

Happy Wednesday!!

Dresses!

I've been having a super busy week, but I was able to crank out some dresses the past few days. I'm saving them for a local Flea Market coming up in May and everything that doesn't sell will be going up in my Etsy shop! :)

Cheese and Crackers

Last week a co-worker brought homemade crackers to work and they were SO good. So I got the recipe and I will share it with you! They're super easy to make and you can add whatever you like to make them tasty for you :)

Recipe:
1¼ cup whole wheat flour
1½ tsp sugar (raw sugar works well here)
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp paprika
4 tbsp butter
¼ cup water
¼ tsp vanilla

*Preheat oven at 400 degrees Celsius

Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl

2. knead into a ball and place on flour'd surface

3. Roll it out REALLY thin (my co-worker said 1/6" thick)

4. Cut into cracker shapes (i used a pizza cutter, it worked really well)

5. Place on baking sheet

6. I warned you about the cheese

7. Bake in oven 8-10 minutes (we did 8, next time I will definitely do 10. They weren't quiiiiite crispy enough so definitely go longer)

8. Cool and serve.

And there you have it! Homemade crackers in about 20 minutes :) You can add seeds, flavorings, whatever you like! Just don't add too much salt like I did :D hehe
